Around Sept. 1760 when he finally received the deed for this land, he moved/had moved about 20 miles south into then Anson/now Mecklenburg County, NC. He also seems to have married Jane/Jean Barry around this time, as well. Their daughter Mary, (no birth date), who married Roger Barry in 1783, could have been born ca 1761. |
